Confirmed - This bug has been present for many many versions. Please mark this
bug as confirmed, all Windows platforms (I've tested Win98, Win2k and XP). I
would also like to see the severity on this bug changed to Normal at the very
least due to its lengthy existance and due to its taking away from one of the
features that sets both Mozilla and Firefox apart from other browsers, its tabs.
This also stymies the usefulness of "Remember This Login" due to the last part
of the load process is to fill in any information in to text fields, except as
soon as the tab is finished filling in the field, it gets focus and all typing
shows up in that field, meaning it has to be re-entered manually or corrected at
the very least.

(Was this possibly introduced with the new Mozilla trunk??)

Steps to Reproduce:
To reproduce: 
Load a page such as altavista.com or any page where the initial input goes to a
text box (the slower the page loads, the easier this will be to witness)
AS SOON as the previous address has been entered in the address bar and Enter
has been pressed, hit Ctrl+T (to open new tab), hit Ctrl+L (to focus on the
address bar) start typing.... type whatever you want... just keep typing, as
soon as the previous page has finished loading, focus will be shifted to that
window despite it not being visible. This also happens when typing in many
(all?) other text input boxes. Reproducible 100% of the time, however you must
make sure your keyboard input is showing in a text field before the hidden tab
is finished loading.

Actual Results:  
Keyboard input that should show up in the location bar, or current tab, is
actually sent to a non-visible tab.

Expected Results:  
Keyboard input should continue to be sent to whichever text input was explicitly
granted focus (e.g. text input on webpage or location bar)
