Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603 calender [2004092412-cal] works well, when installed on Mozilla [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603] but this calender [2004092412-cal] causes Mozilla to crash when starting Mozilla, when installed in the nightly build Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030. So there seems to be a incompatibility from calender [2004092412-cal] to Mozilla [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030]. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030]. 2. Install the calendar xpi from the Mozilla.org ftp server. 3. Shut down Mozilla. 4. Restart Mozilla 5. Mozilla crashes immediatly Actual Results: Mozilla crashed before displaying any mozilla window. The related shell window opened for about a second or less and closed immediatly. Expected Results: no crash

Using following XPI, the crash no longer occurs at browser start but now it happens, when I click on the calendar icon. calendar_linux_20041112.xpi 12-Nov-2004 18:23 1.4M This behaviour is reproducable for both [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030] and [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041121]. So the incompatibility is now less than before, but still present.
