Details

User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603

calender [2004092412-cal] works well, when installed on Mozilla [Mozilla/5.0
(X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040603]

but this calender [2004092412-cal] causes Mozilla to crash when starting
Mozilla, when installed in the nightly build Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;
en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030.

So there seems to be a incompatibility from calender [2004092412-cal] to Mozilla
[Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030].

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030].
2. Install the calendar xpi from the Mozilla.org ftp server.
3. Shut down Mozilla.
4. Restart Mozilla
5. Mozilla crashes immediatly

Actual Results:
Mozilla crashed before displaying any mozilla window. The related shell window
opened for about a second or less and closed immediatly.

Expected Results:
no crash
Reporter,
Please try and reproduce this using the latest Mozilla and calendar xpi builds.

Using following XPI, the crash no longer occurs at browser start but now it
happens, when I click on the calendar icon.

calendar_linux_20041112.xpi              12-Nov-2004 18:23  1.4M

This behaviour is reproducable for both [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US;
rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041030] and [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a5)
Gecko/20041121].

So the incompatibility is now less than before, but still present.
Reporter:
   Could you try to reproduce this with the latest build of calendar?
No response from reporter, and unable to reproduce. Marking wfm.
