When an FF installation is located on a slow or write protected medium, it would
be good if it was possible to make it function as much as the original version
as possible. FF already supports setting the HD cache directory, and I hope it
will be possible to set the location of the "history" file to enable e.g. USB
versions like PortableFirefox to have at least a localized history without
having to write to the USB drive.

The same could be done for cookies, form information, etc.
That's normally done with the profile. For Windows, it's more or less a dupe of
bug 74085.

PortableFirefox has more problems, and might indeed need to store some parts of
the profile in different locations than others.

This is a profile location thing, we're not going to do per-file prefs anymore.
