Would like to change the default so that when you click to open a message it opens in a new window, instead of only displaying one message at a time

This is a feature request to change the default in Thunderbird from allowing only one message to be
opened at one time when you click to open a message to allowing all message to be opened ina
separate window. Currently the only way to do this is to shift click on the message and then choose,
open message in a new window. I would prefer for this to be my default.

Thanks

Not true! This option is available on the very first page seen with
  Tools | Options
Under "Message Window Behavior" choose "A new message window"
