Daniel D. pointed out in the mozillazine forums that .html gives an error message when you try to open them. Even though Firefox is set as the default browser STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Doubleclick any html file on your computer 2. Notice that instead of opening the html file, you will get an error message saying that the file cannot be found.

Suddenly this is WFM. Very very weird. Same build. Will leave it open for a while to see if others have the same problem.

I think this is a Windows bug because I saw this error message on several machines with different programs, i.e. Acrobat Reader. The alert was identical, but I remember that the Acrobat Reader documents were loaded in the program _and_ the error was displayed. I never tried to find out why and I think it disappeared after some time. Maybe the file type is registered wrong or it is just a problem of Windows itself.
