User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1

There really should be more detail in the "Firefox Update" window, showing what
it's doing at any given moment. A single text line under "This may take a few
minutes" that says something like "Checking for updates to: $item" where $item
is "Firefox core system" and subsequent extension/theme names.

A secondary benefit of this is that it can help in locating the source of any
hang-ups that may occur during a global update. (Say, if the server for a
particular extension isn't responding, you can see which extension it was trying
to update when progress stopped.)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Edit -> Preferences + Software Update -> Check Now
2. Observe progress, and lack of specific detail.

Actual Results:
Firefox checked for updates as expected.

Expected Results:
N/A

I think the new update system is sufficiently informative. Marking WFM.
