That link does not seem to be included in the default bookmarks, which you can
see at:
http://lxr.mozilla.org/aviarybranch/source/browser/locales/en-US/profile/bookmarks.html

Are you sure that isn't left over from an old profile?

gavin, you are right!  thanks for the help.

I guess this bug is really "please fix devedge!", which is covered by (at least)
bug #264184
