I know that it could mean a lot of programming, but is it possible to have a
real calendar server, instead of the poor man's solution you are referring to
currently ??
The calendar server should be a permanently running service on a server
somewhere in an organization, and the clients should connect to it and retrieve
their calendar information. I think this would make the sunbird project VERY
interesting to any organization. I know it would make it interesting to mine...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
OS: Linux → All
We're not working on and do not plan to work on a calendar server.
What we are working on is a better integration of Sunbird/Calendar with existing
calendar servers.

Ok... Please let me know if I can help you with anything in this regard... I
might be able to persuade a bunch of people to test the integration to a
calendar server (open source of course)...
The bugspam monkeys have been set free and are feeding on Calendar :: General. Be afraid for your sanity!
