Details

The default assignee and owner of bugs in the Mozilla Localizations /
Norwegian/nno-no component, Karl Huftis, has not replied to Mozilla Norways
attempts to contact him regarding the continued survival of the localization.

Mozilla Norway as a group has started an effort to revive the localization, and
is well under way.

We would like to take ownership of the component, in order to have a place to
coordinate our efforts with other people interested in the localization.

New QA contact: A new flag, like norwegian.nn_NO@localizations, or similar.
New default assignee: Preferably <nynorsk@firefox.no>. Alternatively, if you
want a specific person, <bugmail@q1n.org> (preliminary - we don't have a person
in charge of the nn_NO project yet).
CC'ing current owner.
i'm not comfortable changing ownership w/o some approval from someone who claims
to run the mozilla localization project. given such approval, i can make this
happen.
FYI: I'm managing the Norwegian Nynorsk translation of Mozilla, and have no
plans of stopping to do so.

I have released a language pack for Mozilla 1.7, which still works fine for
1.7.3, so I see no need to 'revive' the localisaiton.
That makes this WONTFIX or INVALID, I think.
Karl: Sorry, we had no idea. You haven't responded to our e-mails, and we've
seen no Firefox release yet. Your website, at
<http://www.huftis.org/nynorsk-programvare/mozilla/>, has no information on any
1.7.x release, and the latest release there is dated 2003-11-03, so we figured
you were gone from the scene.

I'm terribly sorry for the confusion. If you'd like to join our team for a
coordinated effort, we'd be happy to have you aboard. Send an e-mail to
<team@firefox.no>, or contact us on <irc://irc.mozilla.org/#mozilla.no>.

Thanks.
