Details

If I'm in a secure site, and I type a new address in the URL bar without
pressing enter, and then go about my business for a while, I might forget that
the URL displayed is not that of a secure site. Would it not be better to make
the URL bar white again while a new URL is being typed?
I don't think so. You're not going to be able to forget that the URL is not on a
secure server because it says the secure site's domain in the status bar.
It's still quite confusing to see a URL of a non-secure site marked as the URL
of a secure one.
