Details

Sometimes the alarm window pops up in the middle of the screen; sometimes it
pops up in the upper left corner (0,0); and when it's in the middle of the
screen and I ack an alarm, it appears to flash to the upper left corner, and
then back.

Something very goofy is going on with how that window is mapped.

This is on Linux.
And just now, an alarm went off; it popped up in the middle of the screen and
lingered there for a second or two; then moved itself to 0,0.
