User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Note that you may have to set up a login on the Motley Fool site, and log in, to see this issue. When browsing on Motley Fool, many pages are shown "doubled". Clicking on a link on the "top" copy moves you to the "bottom" copy, and clicking on the link there takes you to the actual referenced page. When browsing this same page using IE you only see the content once. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an account on Motley Fool 2. Log in 3. Call up a quote for any stock symbol, for instance ORCL or MSFT. 4. Observe the page is shown twice. 5. In the top half, click on the link for "chart". 6. Observe it repositions the page at the second copy of the page. 7. Click the "chart" link there. 8. Chart appears. 9. Twice! 10. Repeat with IE. 11. Observe "normal" behavior (for a Microsoft product). Actual Results: You will see the pages generated from Motley Fool are shown in the browser window two times. Expected Results: Show the content one time. I have installed the Adblock extension, and have various filters set up, including blocking from g.fool.com They have a lot of annoying ads.

I also see this behavior on some quotes.fool.com pages. It happens with both Windows XP Home (at home) and with Win XP Pro at work. These are new versions of FireFox within the past week. I do not have any extensions installed in the home (XP Home) copy. I also noticed on XP Home (but not XP Pro) that when I clicked on the Time Frame combo box on the chart page http://quotes.fool.com/custom/fool/html-chart.asp?currticker=fcnt.x&symbols=fcnt%2Ex the pull-down list jumped upward to the top of the page, disconnected from the box. I had to mouse up to it, as it jumped around, to select an item. I did not try any other combo boxes.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
