"sftp is not a registared protocol" comes up when i try to log into a vsftp file
structure :-( - i would prefer it be in firefox - btw great job with Release 1

also one thing i liked about the old releases is that you just had to start
typing on the webpage and it started to find the word you were looking for can
we bring that back and leave the cool find tool on the bottom too - thanks

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. type in the URL
2.
3.

Actual Results:
sftp is not a registared protocol

Expected Results:
i want it to prompt me for a vsftp login

none
no security exploit

Never heard about vsftp. And what is sftp? ftp over SSL? Do we really need that?

Bug "OS" is set to windows. On windows we recognize protocols that have properly
put themselves in the windows registry. If sftp is not a registered protocol
then either it is not installed or not installed correctly for a windows machine.

On linux we support sftp only on GNOME 2.6 and above. Is this bug supposed to be
filed against Linux? If it is happening on Linux with GNOME 2.6 and above then
we definitely want to fix it, and in fact I see it working on the machine next
to me. Please reopen with more details if that is the case.
Moreover, we only support sftp: in the GTK2 versions of Mozilla and Firefox.
