User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1
I can send a link or bookmark, but recipients can't open them. This has only
become a problem since I ordered and installed Mozilla.
For example, if I want to send an article on Glen Canyon Dam form the New York
Times site, it gets sent but when recipients get them they can't open them. I
check by sending it to my email and I can't open it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send email link.
2. Won't open when received by me or email recipients.
3. message says such file doesn't exist.
Actual Results:
Can't open files nor can any of myemail recipients.
Expected Results:
To send a file like any normal program does including Micorsoft Explorer. Not
happy with this product.
Can't affortd help line fee of $39.95 so it's a bug. problem. Last chance before
I cancel use of Mozilla and get back to normal computing problems.

Bugzilla isn't a support database.
If you could copy the link from the email, and paste it here, along with the
original, we might be able to see if this is a bug or just something the Times
is doing to discourage external linking.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

"Send Link" only send the URL of the page. If you want to send the file, you
need "Send Page" (bug 216168)
reporter(dennis), can you respond to comment 1 and clarify what this bug is about?
