RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 225574

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

The default method for opening a PDF on the Mac is Adobe Reader (I think it
should be Preview since that is what happens from Finder, but that's taste). In
fact, I can't switch to Preview.app, because Preview shows up as unselectable.
However, I can select any document (e.g. a .txt file) as the application for
opening PDFs. My workaround was to move Preview out of Applications directory,
replaced it with a dummy text file called Preview.app. Then I could select it as
an app from Firefox. Then moved Preview.app back into the Applications directory.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Firefox->Preferences...->Downloads
2. From Filetypes, select any file type. Click Change Action...
3. Click "Open them in this application:" radio button.
4. Navigate to Applications folder.

Actual Results:
Applications were not selectable.

Expected Results:
I should be able to select an app.
Fixed in RC1 and upcomming 1.0
