User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041101 Firefox/1.0RC2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041101 Firefox/1.0RC2 The bookmark link bar seems to occasionally dissapear. All that is left is the double arrow that is supposed to expand the toolbar in the event that there are too mank links. This happens after usage for a while and switching windows, etc.. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

From the UI string, it would appear you are running Firefox. Therefore you have selected the wrong product. You should change it to Firefox.

I can confirm this on FF1.0 final (WinXP). It happens randomly and then comes back (maybe when I'm closing tabs, but can't be sure). See the screenshot. When the bookmarks are shown, they only cover about 2/3rd of the bar, so they normally don't show the 'collapse' chevrons.
