The news message list is reset to the first entry about every minute. This seems
to happen only when I use a customized view or a filter (input field with the
magnifying-glass-icon).
First I thought this behaviour could be fixed by setting something like a
refresh-option in the news group/server preferences, but did'nt find such an
option. The "Check for new messages" is set to 10 minutes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. choose a news group to read
2. apply a customized view or use the filter (input field with
magnifying-glass-icon)
3. choose a message in the list
4. wait up to about a minute
Actual Results:  
the message list is reset once in a while

Expected Results:  
well, the list should'nt be reset ;-)

please update to a newer build - I believe this has been fixed since .8 came out.

I am using version 0.8 (20040913).
Do you suggest a nightly build?

yes, a newer nightly .8 build. But not today's build. It's bad. Try tomorrow's
build.
