Details

I've been testing software updates according to the instructions on this page
(http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/qa/softwareupdate.html). When I
download and install "Firefox 1.0 RC1," Firefox shortcuts are placed on my
desktop and in my quicklaunch toolbar. Could there please be checkboxes for
that behavior? They would fit nicely on the last stage of the update window,
along with "Use Firefox Start as my Home Page."
Found the same behaviour on update to RC2. Icons were placed on desktop,
quicklaunch and in the start menu root folder. Checkboxes in the last update
page would be a good solution, imho.
Is this an appropriate bug to flag?
