I messed up with my trying to maintain the new msg set when messages are filtered to pop3 folders that aren't open. Patch upcoming. I think we'll want this for .9 - it's fairly safe.

we need to clear the new list even if we don't think we have new messages, so that we'll clear the cached m_newSet.
