Most of the time, whenever there is a pdf document to be downloaded from the
web, the document will not load and does not launch Acxrobat. The browser
screen turn blank and the bottom left hand corner shows 'done'. I have Acrobat
6 loaded and this function work every time with Internet Explorer.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on any web page link that lists a pdf document
2. screen goes blank and diaply shows 'done'.
3. I then need to launch IE in order to retrieve the document

Expected Results:
Acrobat should launch and the document gets downloaded and displayed - or at
least a menu asking if I want to save it or diplay it.
Is an entry for application/pdf in Preferences - Navigator - Helper Appl.? What
for settings?
Which Version of Acrobat 6 (there is one older broken V6 Version) ?
Do you see the Acrobat Plugin in help/about:plugins ?
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
I use another work-around: if the link is for a pdf document, I right-click on
the link and select "Save Link Target As...", save the document in a temporary
directory and read it from my hard drive...
Version: Trunk → 1.7 Branch
Could bug 278903 and bug 278950 be related?
