I write this to Component/Account Manager because ther is no option for Profile Manager. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I start Profile Manager and create new profile. When I click on start Thunderbird, the window Profile manager close but nothing happen. If I chose default profile, also nothing happen. I try older versions and Prifile Manager work in version 0.6. after version 0.6, in versions 0.7, 0.7.3, 0.8 and 0.9, profile manager does not work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Profile Manager 2. Create new profile 3. Start Tunderbird Actual Results: Program doas not start Expected Results: It will be good if program will start.
I tried thunderbird 0.9 in zip file: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/0.9/thunderbird-0.9-win32.zip Now Profile manager works! Then I install thunderbird and the profile manager does not work. But if I run thunderbird from zip file then Profile manager works. I try nightly build too (0.9+). 2004-11-23-13-0.9/ThunderbirdSetup.exe <- Profile manager in this does not work 2004-11-23-13-0.9/thunderbird-win32.zip <- Profile manager in this working Maybe is something wrong with install program?!
I found problem. Something else is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I extract thunderbird from zip file and map name was thunderbird and the profile manager was working. Then I rename map name to Mozilla Thunderbird and Profile manager doesn't work. Then I install Thunderbird, BUT not in defult directory (Mozilla Thunderbird, BUT just "Thunderbird" or "MozilaThunderbird (together)." Profile Manager having problems with default directory name "Mozilla Thunderbird"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm talking about "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird" directory. The name "Mozilla Firefox" must be writen without any space. Maybe is this the same bug as 24793, I dont know. I'm sorry again if I write to much, but I didn't know where to write about my problem.
