Build Identifier:

if you put a ; or # in a url before the end . of a host(com/net/org) it can be
anyware from w;ww.google.com to www.google;.com once firefox comes across this
charactor it will use the default search(www.google.com) to search for what is
before the ; or # but after http:// basicly its like just typeing www into
firefox if you use www;.google.com but the url will not change to the new url
so if someone can become the top search result on google for e.g. www.googl
then they could fake google and use the url www.googl;e.com

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
type www;.google.com into the url bar http://www;.google.com/ will work too
type www#.google.com into the url bar http://www#.google.com/ will work too
Actual Results:
yahoo appears but the url stays like www;.google.com

Expected Results:
changed the url to www.yahoo.com

i dont know what version it works for or if ; and # are the only results but I
know it works on firefox ill check what version later.
Sorry this bug only works on my firefox it does not need looking into.
