Status bar is not cleared upon task completion.  It's my perception that this 
happens every time, but I can't be cretain, since selecting "compact folders" 
does not always appear to do anything.  This could be either that it does not do 
anything, OR that it does compact [very quickly] and then clears the status bar.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select file...compact folders...
2. status bar says "Compacting [Inbox | Sent Items | ...]"
3. status message remains until next status message (connecting for new 
messages, for example).

Actual Results:  
As described

Expected Results:  
Clear the status bar.

I am using the default theme, default installation (I did not do my own build)
