After installing Thunderbird 0.9 in the same directory where 0.8 is installed,
the application doesn't work anymore. Look at the screenshot.

this happens when someone is running a bad extension. nothing we can do about it.

It looks to me like it might be a problem with a localization.

May be. The former installed version was in german, the new version is currently
only available in english. But perhaps it is a problem with the Enigmail-Plugin.
This also doesnt work right with version 0.8, but not making so mutch trouble.
