Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2

I ran a custom install after completely uninstalled my previous build (RC1). I
did not delete my RC1 (clean for RC1) profile. I decided to move my install from
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" to "D:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" (issues
with default folder in browse dialog noted in another ticket) and in the final
steps told it to NOT use a desktop shortcut but DO add a quick launch shortcut.
It did exactly the reverse.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Desktop shortcut added.

Expected Results:
Quick Launch shortcut added.
Apologies if this comment is inappropriate. Installed Firefox on a platform with
Mozilla 1.7.5 already installed. No quick lauch icon was installed, though I did
check the box.

Is there a workaround to get the quick launch icon installed now?
