User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 Trying to open a .doc attachment, Thunderbird 0.9 just tries to save it (it doesn't open it even after saving it). It appears to have the same functionality as "Save as..." Double clicking the icon, or selecting "Open" from the submenu have the same effect as selecting "Save as..." from the attachment submenu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select an email with an attachment (it happens in both the main screen or on a standalone mail window). 2. Double click on an attachment or select "Open" from the attachment submenu. Actual Results: Thunderbird tries to save the file (and if I save it it doesn't open it either). Expected Results: Open the file in the application defined by windows.
