Nobody is doing this but you can. 

Here's the scenario: I create an event. Adjacent to it are travel arrangements. 
In outlook, et al I have to make three appointments (since the travel 
arrangements often differ widely from the event arrangements) or just to 
account for drive times. This means I'm managing three appointments for one 
event, three reminders, etc.

Instead, there should be:

A. Bracket times (ie, information for times before and after an actual 
appointment).
B. Or, a way to 'link or chain' appointments together into a related and 
contiguous unit that can be managed as a group.
