Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2 When I minimize Firefox and then later restore it to its normal size, the bookmarks toolbar is missing the bookmarks. The only thing that appears is the double greater than (>>) on the left side of the toolbar. Clicking on the >> button causes the toolbar bookmarks to appear in a dropdown menu. My Resizing the window, even slightly causes the toolbar to be redrawn correctly. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Minimize Firefox 2. Restore Firefox to original size 3. Actual Results: Bookmarks toolbar is blank. Expected Results: Bookmarks toolbar should appear as it was prior to minimizing. I first noticed this in 1.0RC1. It always failed in that release. With 1.0RC2, the problem doesn't show up consistently. I have 13 folders and 4 separators on the bookmarks toolbar so the bookmarks cover the entire window width. I have tried making the window both wider so that there is empty space on the right side and I have narrowed the window so that the ">>" shows up on the right. Neither of these had any affect on the problem. That is, it still occurred sporadically.
Sounds like bug 266737. That bug only occurs when you modify the bookmarks toolbar, which would explain why this bug seems sporadic. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 266737 ***
