Details

This has been driving me crazy in Mozmail and when I installed Thunderbird I was
surprised to find the problem still existed. I was surprised till I realized
that many others may not be experiencing it because their message sort order is
probably different than mine.

I suppose I'm one of a set of people that sort by date with the most recent on
top (like most webmails).

To reproduce this bug:
1. Set the sort order of messages to sort by date with most recent on top
2. Receive or place a piece of junk mail in the inbox
3. Select a message somewhere below the junk message
4. Manually mark the junk message as Junk (with junk controls set to move
messages to Junk folder)

Expected Result:
When junk message is moved to junk folder, the currently focused message stays
that way.

Actual Result:
When junk message is moved to junk folder, the focus moves to the next message
below it (as all the messages shift up).

This is very irritating when one is in the middle of reading a message and a
piece of mail slips through the junk filter.

This also occurs in Mozmail.
Summary: When mail is manually marked as junk and moved to junk folder, current focus moves to message next message → When mail is manually marked as junk and moved to junk folder, current focus moves to next message
