With a Home Page location set for a web page in Firefox 1.0 RC1 on Windows 2000
SP4, it loads as expected in new windows opened from the main browser window,
but it doesn't load as expected when a new window is opened using Ctrl+N in the
Download window. Instead I get a blank page.

Yes, that was one unfortunate feature of the hack to at least make it work in 1.0. Now, it works just fine, but only on the Mac, since everywhere else it just doesn't work at all.

And by the way, if you don't want your bug to be completely ignored for 18 months, it's a really good idea to tick the radio button by "Reassign bug to default assignee..." when you move it between products/components.
