Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2
Upon initial opening of the Options window, I can't switch to different panels
within it without closing the entire window and opening it once again. From then
on it works fine.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Initially open Firefox
2.Tools > Options
3.Try to switch to a different panel by clicking on the side icons
Actual Results:
Nothing, the panel won't change
Expected Results:
Switched to a different panel

I have also observed this behavior. It is still present in version 1.0. However,
I cannot reproduce it consistently. If I restart Firefox and open the Options
dialog, switching between panels works. The problem seems to be when I have
multiple tabs or windows open and I have been browsing for a while. Closing and
reopening the Options dialog fixes it. Also, upon reopening the dialog, the
panel I had previously clicked on is now shown.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
