RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 171132

People

(Reporter: legoguy, Assigned: bugs)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041104 Firefox/1.0RC2 (Legoguy; XFT+GTK2; opt. for P4/SSE-2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041104 Firefox/1.0RC2 (Legoguy; XFT+GTK2; opt. for P4/SSE-2)

This only happens on Linux, tested with same-date builds on Windows XP and
Gentoo Linux.
Middle clicking a tab does not close it.
In addition.. although I know you all don't like to hear about TBE, it might
provide useful data... When in the "gestures" prefs of the latest TBE the middle
click actions are completely disabled on linux but not on Windows. This must be
a regression, but I have not a clue where it started. Can I request blocking on
this? It's one of the needed and advertised features I think.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Middle click an open tab when there are at least two in the window
Actual Results:
No tabs closed

Expected Results:
Middle-clicked tab should close
