User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041103 Firefox/1.0RC2

The Account Settings window width is too narrow. I'm using Thunderbird in GNOME,
using the Bitstream Vera fonts (size 9 for application font) and some items in
that window get clipped.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run Thunderbird from GNOME, with the Bitstream Vera font as Application Font
2. Tools -> Account Settings
3. Choose Server Settings in some account (for example)

Actual Results:
Some buttons are clipped by the right side of the window.

Expected Results:
The window should grow to accomodate all widgets, or the default width should be
larger.
Oops, this is Thunderbird 0.9.
The Attachment shows the Account Settings window of Thunderbird 1.0.6. As you
can see, the window is too small to see all settings. It is also not possible
to resize the window.
OS: Windows 2000
Please make this window resizeable. Nothing else has to be changed, just
resizeable would be fine.
This is from Thunderbird 1.5 and the problem still persists.
I remember that in some previous editions you could resize the window but now you can't. This should be fixed as the window is to small.

Reporter, does the issue still occur with the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported Thunderbird version 2 is 2.0.0.16)
Whiteboard: closeme 2008-08-28
I'm unable to test, since I no longer use Linux on the desktop, and I'm not a Thunderbird user on Windows.
Mario, Martin, is this still an issue?
