It is very needed to support more formats to import.  Outlook CSV and standard
csv are virtually identical other than the "" put around everything....  The
more import types the more easily people will move to this product!
My personal order of Priority:
1-Direct from Outlook (no export from Outlook should be needed)
2-Standard csv

CSV is only supported in a very limited way.  You must format is to a very tight specification, which is NOT true csv format.   Specifically as requested, I wanted it to support the csv format generated by MS-OUTLOOK, which it does not support unless you modify the csv format from outlook to be in the format allowed.

The second part was the addition of other formats including direct import from a MS-OUTLOOK file.

Michael, as noted in Comment #2 CSV format is supported. 

Please note that the CSV format created by Outlook differs depending on the OS language and the Outlook language -> Bug 301750. The format also differs depending on the Outlook version -> Bug 337377. (Blame Outlook for not sticking to one format.)

Direct import from Outlook -> Bug 167102 and maybe Bug 134763.

Anything left?

Please also report only one issue per bug report in future. This makes it easier to handle them and keep track of them.

The CSV file format had nothing to do with Outlook, Sunbird was NOT reading a csv file that had "" around certain text correctly... Not sure why!  It reads the file correctly now.

Additionally, as of now...  With Outlook 2003 and Version 0.3, it reads the generated csv outlook file correctly too...  But of course Outlook only outputs events as a day event vs. repeating sequences....  But that is fine for now!
