I know that it is not an important feature but I use it often
I don't know if it is authorized and if it will be usefull but here is a link to

CTCP Sound is not standardised in any way, meaning you have no gurentee at all
that a particular sound exists on another client. Hence, it is basically useless.

Unless you can come up with a compelling reason to add this feature, it is WONTFIX.
