User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 When you look at the page on http://www.shocking.com/~rsnake/download.html and save-as and then look at the saved copy it has two images load. I am trying to build a webpage that does not download/cache images, but not only does it download the image but it prints it twice when viewed locally. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to http://www.shocking.com/~rsnake/download.html 2. save-as 3. open webpage and compare the source Actual Results: It printed the image twice... once from disc and once from local Expected Results: I would have expected it to not download the image since it is built dynamically with a fully qualified domain. I'd really like to have a way to exclude certain things from download and cacheing (so far I can't do either if the user does a save-as), which makes it impossible to make the image dynamic. I can definitely think of webpages that would break upon download because of this double image issue.
Okay, I created a much bigger example of how badly this is messed up. http://www.shocking.com/~rsnake/download2.html Save that and view it and compare the two versions side by side. It not only puts the image in where it wasn't before, which messes with the JavaScript but even worse it prints out the JavaScript output twice! Even worse, it put the text before the <BR> tag, which messes with the formatting (concatinates strings). What a mess!

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
