Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1 It looks like a new 'check for updates' button has been added between 1.0PR and RC1. It appears next to the Help menu and is an upward white arrow. This seems like a good idea, but it has no tooltip and it's not really obvious what it does. I think it ought to have a tooltip at the minimum, and it would be good if there were a better way to indicate what it does without having to hover over it (I can't think of one though!) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: It's likely this is a duplicate, but I couldn't find one.

Very strangely, I just restarted Firefox and the button has completely disappeared. Maybe it was never supposed to be there in the first place? I cannot find it in the Customize Toolbar window. I'd close this bug, only I suspect (if I knew how to make it reappear) that the tooltip would still be absent.
