User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041026 Firefox/1.0RC1
Build Identifier: version 0.9 (20041103)

When composing an HTML email, if I insert an emoticon into the message and keep
typing, I am unable to navigate with the cursor past that emoticon.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compose a new HTML message.
2. Write a sentence and then insert an emoticon. Write another sentence.
3. With your cursor at the end of your message:
a. Now press and hold the left arrow key.
OR
b. Press and hold ctrl + left arrow key.

4. Alternatively, with your cursor to the beginning of your message:
a. Now press and hold the right arrow key.
OR
b. Press and hold ctrl + right arrow key.

Actual Results:
In step 3 the cursor will navigate backward through the message and become stuck
on the right side of the emoticon.
In step 4 the cursor will navigate forward through the message and become stuck
on the left side of the emoticon.

(The Home and End keys operate correctly on a line with an emoticon.)

Expected Results:
In either case, the cursor should have continued navigation past the emoticon
treating the emoticon as a word.

I guess this assumes that you have emoticons displayed as graphics!
