Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 I am accessing the outlook webmail using firefox. I opened the mail in a firefox instance and logged in. Before closing the mail i launched another browser window from the desktop ( i am not using Ctrl + N or anything. I am launching it using the short cut on desktop). Then i closed the outlook mail window. If i again try to access the mail it is not prompting me for username/password. It directly takes me in. But if i close all the windows and try to open the mail it prompts me for the user/password. I reported this bug earlier in security category and i received a mail from somebody saying its not a bug. But IT IS a BUG. And i dont see the bug i submitted anymore. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch firefox and open a secure website (In my case it is Outlook web mail) which prompts for User/password ( Basic auth). enter the user/password and login. 2. Launch another instance of the browser using the short cut or whatever. 3. close the first window ( in my case it is outllok web mail) 4. Now Try accessing the mail again. It doesnt prompt me for user/password. It directly takes me in. Actual Results: Does not prompt for User/Password Expected Results: Must prompt for user/password Works as expected in IE

Bugzilla has a search function where you could search, e.g. for the reporter. Please don't file more than one bug report for the same issue. I mark this as duplicate of your first report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 266484 ***
