Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 I use firefox/mozilla to access some locally built tools at work. All sites are on our local intranet and cannot be accessed via the web. I don't know why, but the developers decided many of the forms/tools we use rely on pop-ups to display certain information. I've completely disabled the pop-up blocker, yet it continues to block these vital pop-ups. This was a problem on 1.0PR so I reverted back to .9 and it worked flawlessly. It is back again with 1.0GM. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Pop-up is using javascript. 2. 3. Actual Results: Get error message - Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window. Click here for options... The options are Block popups from site, etc. This tells me the site is currently unblocked! Expected Results: Allow the popup to appear. Using standard theme. All javascript is allowed.

WFM - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 - As soon as I unchecked the block popups prefrence or listed a site with popups as a allowed site to show popups the site was able to create a popup. Have you tried listing the root site of your web app (such as cnn.com for http://www.cnn.com/index.html) as an allowed site to display popups. Tools --> options --> web features --> click on "Allowed sites" on the same row as the block popups prefrence --> list the root of the site you want to show popups and click allow. If that does not work try reproducing firefox's safe mode Start --> (All) Programs --> Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox(safe mode) Or try a new profile using the profile manager directions are at http://kb.mozillazine.org/index.phtml?title=Profile_Folder use section 2 to pick a method of starting the profile manager and 3 to create a new profile.

I'm having the same problem with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050228 Firefox/1.0+. It's blocking pop-ups, even though I have it disabled in prefs. Furthermore, the site that is sending the blocked pop-up is in the allowed sites.
