playing around in the arstechnica.com site i found this problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
This is the page source that gives you an iframe to the url link mentioned in
this report...

http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20041108-4382.html

seems that as an iframe, it loads just fine, but as a direct url, it is a problem.
Confimring that the page is causing a serious hang.
can we get the contents of that url saved here so they don't go away on us on
the server? then we can try to reduce a testcase.

does this hang firefox too?
Re Comment #3;

I can not save the page and then reproduce. I can only reproduce on the online
page. Otherwise I would have alrady attached it.

FF get's stuck in an endless loop where it doesn't stop loading things. But it
never hangs like Camino even tough it crashed as soon as I quit FF.
i was able to grab the page by going to this url in camino:

view-source:http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/Templates/ArsTechnica/TopBanner.htm

alternatively, one could just use wget or curl.
note: if you try to save the file to disk and then load it, it doesn't cause the
crash. my guess is the relative urls...
crashes Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041111
Win98SE, 512 MB, neither DocWatson nor Talkback are coming up, just get a
bluescreen.
Talkback is working on this installation, had sent some reports today.

Tested this bug before with a then current nightly on Win98, don´t remember
if it was hanging or crashing, but also no Talkback.

So maybe this bug would be better
Product: Browser, Hardware: ALL, OS: ALL?
not a camino bug.

If someone could reduce this to it's most minimal testcase, that would go a long
way toward getting it onto the fixing path.

This worksforme with seamonkey linux trunk 2005032705, and also with trunk
2004110805. Is this still a problem for anyone else?
