It is very easy to reproduce. On a clean Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 (U2 or U3),
install firefox 1.0 and then do a print preview or even just "Cntl P". Firefox
instantly segfaults. cupsd is not running... but that shouldn't segfault the
browser

Actually, cupsd *IS* running... the segfault occurs after firefox contacts ipp
on the localhost, then consults /etc/cups/lpoptions and /home/user/.lpoptions...
then segfaults.
If I turn off cupsd, firefox works perfectly.
