Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

Installed firefox on several systems, win95, win2000, win98se, win98. I can no
longer load the wordperfect V8 address book on any system with firefox
installed. I get a message that my mapi32.dll is wrong. Looking at the
properties of mapi32.dll I see that it is a mozilla version. Earlier
installations of Mozilla didn't affect the corel address book.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start/corel suite8/accessories/corel address book 8
2.
3.

Actual Results:
error msg regarding mapi32.dll

Expected Results:
load the address book

Firefox doesn't come with a mapi32. Only Mozilla and Thunderbird could do that..

It appears that thunderbird, when registered as default mail client, renames
mapi32.dll (on my system v. 4.00.834.839) Mapi32_moz_bak.dll, and installes the
Mozilla version (1.7.5: 2004120606) in its place. For a workaround, renaming
Mozilla version mapi32.old and Mapi32_moz_bak.dll to Mapi32.dll allows both to
work on my machine, with the exception of the "do you want Tbird to be your
default mail client" message, which can be ignored or turned off. Wonder if
internal calls to mozMapi32 could result in a call to mzmapi.dll (8.3 format)
allowing both versions to coexist? BTW, my version of Corel is Office 8,
Thunderbird is version 1.0 (20041206)

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
