268766 - Release notes should inform user of risks of installing over previous Firefox version

Upon reading release notes for version 1.0, did not see the previous warning
about installing over a previous version.  Installed over previous Firefox 09.3.
Upon launch, received message, "could not find entry point for ..." Had to use
ctl-alt-delete to get message to stop and go away.

Going back and uninstalling previous version first resulted in a clean install
and operation.

Believe release notes need this warning

System is a Dell XPS500 PIII running Win XP Home SP1.  Two hard drives, 512mb Ram.  

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Do not uninstall previous Firefox version 09.3
2.Install Firefox 1.0
3.Start Firefox 1.0

Actual Results:  
Firefox 1.0 will not start

Previous version release notes provided very specific warning about installing
over previous version.  Release 1.0 notes did not.

Ditto for installing Firefox 1.0 over Mozilla 1.7.  Firefox won't launch, with
an endless stream of "could not find entry point ... " messages.  Mozilla won't
launch, with no message of any kind.  Had to un-install Firefox and re-install
Mozilla.

Installing Firefox into a different directory seems to work so far, but Firefox
does not seem to import full config from Mozilla, eg. fonts, proxies.
