User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 when I uninstall firefox and re-install it I get old setting back , like extension coz I can't uninstall some extension(I forgot what) so I try to un-install firefox, to get rid all extension and install new one. but when I install it, I get old extension all complete where it left I don't know why but I have to format my harddrive to get complete new firefox so it's mean that uninstall firefox is not all complete Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install some extension 2.try to uninstall firefox 3.re-install firefox Actual Results: you will see old extension or theme same as it was before uninstall Expected Results: when uninstall, It's mean complete clear so if I want it new refresh I acn uninstall & reinstall it
To 'completely remove' everything, you need to delete your profile folder. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/edit#profile The uninstaller does not remove it on purpose, as upgraders would not want to lose their bookmarks, passwords, cookies, extensions. Resolving as invalid.
