Tom, Are there any specific steps that cause the extension to crash, or does any addition or change cause the crash?

Any additions or changes cause the crash. I have been able to correct this by completely uninstalling Thunderbird .9 and Calendar. And then making certain that all program files were deleted and then reinstalling the Thunderbird and Calendar. I did not have to remove any profile data.
