I you try to create a new event Calendar crashes and crashes Thunderbird as well.

Calendar build 2001/11/04.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Thunderbird
2. Start Calendar
3. Create Event

Actual Results:
Calendar crashes and Thunderbird crashes

Expected Results:
Add the event.

This happens with an old calendar file or with a brand new one created by
Calendar at startup. I have also migrated everything to a brand new profile and
this still happens.
Tom,
Are there any specific steps that cause the extension to crash, or does any
addition or change cause the crash?
Any additions or changes cause the crash.

I have been able to correct this by completely uninstalling Thunderbird .9 and
Calendar. And then making certain that all program files were deleted and then
reinstalling the Thunderbird and Calendar.

I did not have to remove any profile data.
Tom,
If this problem has been corrected as you said, then this bug needs to be
