Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the inbox sort by date then use the Group sort view.
2.Expand the Today, Yesterday and Last week.
3.Select the Sent folder and get back to the inbox.
4.Now only the Today view is expanded and the others have collapsed

Expected Results:
Keep the same expanded view
I can reproduce this consistently on XP with SP1, TB 0.9, with my several IMAP
accounts with subfolders.

It seems that the expanded/collapsed status of the groups in "Group by sort" is
reset everytime you change to a different folder, which is extremely annoying.
I get this with any sort that can be grouped, not just by date.

TB only expands the group of the last selected message in the folder, and all
the others are collapsed again.

I think TB should not only remember the state of the groups, but should also
expand automatically the folders that contain unread messages (or maybe the
latter option should be a toggle option).
My point is that I would like to sort by date, and keep permanently the
"today, yesterday, and last week" folders expanded, because those are the mails I
need to consult the most. The others should stay collapsed until I need to
expand them.

Right now the "group by sort" view is pretty irritating to use if you have
multiple mail folders (who doesnt'?), and makes it a lot harder to view and read
the emails.
Sorry for replying to this, this seems to be resolved already, as it is a
duplicate for bug #267845.
yes, dup.
