I was told that Firefox would periodicly check to see if new compatible version were availiable. Once I had 1.0 up and running I attempted to install an exteions (Adblock 0.5 d2 nightly 39) using the XPI but I nothing happened (adblock.mozdev.org was previously added to the XPI installation whitelist). I attempted to open the extion manager but nothing happened, it refused to open. I logged out then back in and tried it but had the same results. I powered down and back up but had the same problem. I finally was able to work around this problem by manually deleting all of the extensions in my profile. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
