I am using different profiles for viewing my mail and browser. We use proxy
servers for our browser but not for mails. I want to be able to read my mail
while browsing the internet. But I can only use a profile in a moment. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Surf the net using profile1.
2. Switch to profile2 to read mail. (This would destroy the current browser.)
3.

Actual Results:  
I cannot browse the internet and read mail at the same time.

Expected Results:  
I need to use profiles simultaneously.

Did you entered the proxy in Profile1 also as socks proxy ?
Mailnews will only use a socks proxy and not a http proxy..

And you still can add your mail-server in the no-proxy list..
