User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 in Internet Explorer, hitting the stop button in the navigation bar will stop an animated gif from continuing its animation. In firefox once the page is loaded the stop button is grayed out. Perhaps instead of using the stop button like Internet explorer does, an option when right-clicking on the animated gif could be to stop it, similar to the way flashplayer can sometimes let you halt a flash animation through the right-click menu Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.load http://www.chelseapiers.com/sr01.htm completely 2.try clicking stop or in some other way stopping the animated gif on the left Actual Results: nothing, which is the point. Expected Results: clicking stop or right-clicking and choosing a stop option should have stopped the GIF
